چکیده
This paper is concerned with the modelling of punching shear failure at edge columns flat slabs without reinforcement. Punching much less researched than interior despite typical buildings having more columns. The uses nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) to study influence on resistance parameters including column aspect ratio and loading eccentricity. NLFEA carried out using both 3D solid elements a Joint Shell Model (JSPM) which combines shell joint that incorporate criterion Critical Shear Crack Theory (CSCT). Both constant varying eccentricities are investigated since near eccentricity connections typically reduces below calculated elastic due moment being redistributed from support span. reduction in beneficial shown depend final Consequently, designing for basis moments overly conservative.

Estimation of Punching Shear Capacity of Concrete Slabs Using Data Mining Techniques
Punching shear capacity is a key factor for governing the collapsed form of slabs. This fragile failure that occurs at the slab-column connection is called punching shear failure and has been of concern for the engineers. The most common practice in evaluating the punching strength of the concrete slabs is to use the empirical expressions available in different building design codes. The estima...

Data collected from shake table tests of two, approximately one-third scale, two story flat plate frames utilizing shear reinforcement, as well as data from prior tests, were evaluated to assess the inter-story drift ratios when punching failures occur for reinforced concrete and post-tensioned slab-column connections with and without shear reinforcement. The drift ratios at punching for the sh...
متن کاملNumerical Analysis of Punching Shear Failure of Reinforced Concrete Slabs
Nearly no load bearing behaviour of reinforced concrete members allows such varied interpretations and complex discussions as the shear behaviour. Especially the three-dimensional problem of the punching shear failure of reinforced concrete members is internationally discussed. Nevertheless up to now, there is no unified design approach or even an overall accepted design model. Especially for l...
